Reader's Workshop
Become a robust reader & thinker!
Individual and small group sessions available
Reader's Workshop sessions provide students with opportunities to learn and practice comprehension strategies in order to understand and think deeply about text.
Learners will develop and strengthen their oral language development, background knowledge and vocabulary.
In these sessions, students will build strong reading habits, discuss a variety of text genres, reflect on and keep track of their thinking, and learn to set personal goals.
Writer's Workshop

Individual and small group classes available
The writing process is explored through a variety of genres, including narrative, persuasive, expository, and poetry.
During these sessions, students will learn skills & strategies for planning, note-taking, drafting, revising, editing and publishing their writing.
Writers will learn the writing traits of idea development, organization, word choice, sentence fluency, voice and conventions as they work through their pieces.
Pricing
One-on-one, individualized learning sessions include initial assessment and customized, tailored lessons. Pricing: $65 per session
Learning pod opportunities are available for homeschool families (2-4 students), Contact me for pricing.
