About Me
I am a master teacher with 28+ years in the field of education, and a certified Educator in Elementary Education in the State of NH.

My specialities include teaching reading and writing literacy, as well as foundational math skills. Helping students become confident learners who strive to reach their full potential and develop a lifelong love of learning is my passion.

Teaching the whole child, and meeting the developmental and individual needs of my students, is of utmost importance to me.
While using direct, explicit, systematic instruction, my lessons include a variety of interactive, multi-sensory approaches to motivate students and make learning fun and engaging.

If your child is struggling with academic work, needs assistance developing executive functioning skills such as task initiation and organization, or in need of enrichment opportunities to strengthen academic abilities, I am here to help.

I look forward to meeting your child, and assessing your learner's strengths and areas of need, in order to create a personalized plan for short & long term learning goals.

*Literacy Lab Mentor, South Londonderry Elementary School

*Before beginning For the Love of Learning, my role as a classroom teacher at South School in Londonderry, NH included being a literacy mentor for first through fifth grade teachers and staff. We developed a Literacy Lab model and facilitated school-wide, job-embedded professional development opportunities for all staff. These coaching lab sessions included grade-level team meetings and observations of lessons in the classroom.

Our Literacy Lab focused on reflection & goal setting within current literacy instruction across all grade levels, two summer workshop sessions for assistance in classroom & material set-up, and multiple-day Literacy Lab mentoring sessions for all grade level teams throughout the 2018-2019 school year.

If you would like more information on how I can work with your staff, please reach out. I'd love to help grow your literacy program.
